Interfaith Ramadan Event

Dear Member,

ANUMA is happy to announce that we will be hosting an Interfaith Ramadan Reception to celebrate the Holy Month of Ramadan. This event being jointly supported by Muslim, Jewish and Christian students at the ANU will present a rather unique opportunity to experience inter-religious solidarity and sympathy under the umbrella of peace, love and compassion so prevalent over the Holy Month of Ramadan. Program will include the keynote speech, cultural performances and Iftar dinner to name a few.

Moreover, we have arranged the prayer and per-prayer washing facilities in the rooms adjoining to the event space.  The details for the event are as follows:

Date: Wednesday, 3 October 2007

Venue: ANU Function Hall (at the Union Court)

Time: 6:00pm to 8:30pm

Dress Code: Formal/Traditional

Ticket Price: $20

The tickets for this event will be sold in the ANU Refectory on September 18, 19, 20 from 11am to 2pm. Any group bookings are welcome.

As this is a celebration of Ramadan, please feel free to invite your fellow Muslim and non-Muslim friends as well. For any questions please do not hesitate to email us at anuma@anuma.org.

Kind Regards
ANUMA
